Hello again.. I'm trying really hard to sort out these issues on 98 and ME machines, hopefull you've got enough patience =) i haven't received any death threats yet so thats a plus. ( I'm used to them though, being a game programmer by day ) Theres a new nikon dll available from nikontech its version .3001 of the nkdusb.dll I just installed it and it seems to work ok, but since I wasn't really having issues before i don't know if it'll improve things any.. USB scanners will cause issues at the moment. So if you have one cPix will work better without it. ---- New features "Avail Memory" available memory in bytes left on the CF card. "Leave me well alone" this is for me, don't play with it. "Take a preview" i changed this around a bit, i forgot i had the window set to be always on top, changed that. Eventually it will live inside the main dialog. "Get Last" crashed if no pic was available to it, the camera seems to startup with last set to none Lots of internal changes, theres nw a log file file generated if you have problems, it will live in C:\cpix.log send this to me if you have a problem ( and if theres anything in it ) I noticed the camera seems to have a different "User setting" for when the USB cable is plugged in, it will forget all the changes you made when you unplug it from the USB and then use it normally. I will probably add a checkbox that allows the program to remember the settings , instead of relying on the camera, I was going to add a feature where you could save and load settings. So you could build up a little library of settings. I can't find the AE lock setting (which is why this new mysterious "Leave me well alone" dialog has appeared), its there somewhere. thanks to all of you I hope some of you are getting use out of this program.. http://www.charliex.net/cpix/Cpix1.7.zip http://www.nikontechusa.com/updates/nkdusb.zip
